Consultation Outcome
Dear Parents and Carers Thank you to those who participated in the recent consultation around the proposed changes to the school day. There was both support for these changes and concerns expressed. In light of the consultation, we have decided that now is not the time to implement these changes. In making this decision we acknowledge that some parents are facing challenging financial circumstances and additional childcare cost may add to this. It also adds additional complications to parents who have to pick up from two different settings.
We too, however, are facing significant financial pressures and if these continue as projected, we will have no other option than to revisit the timings of the school day to ensure that we can continue to be able to focus our finances on the core priorities of teaching and learning. We will notify parents and carers of any changes by Easter 2026.
