Lumiere Event
West Park Lumiere Event will be on Thursday 19th February 2026, from 5:00pm - 6:00pm.
All children will be participating in creating art installations for our Lumiere event, applying their learning in STEM and art. The installations will focus around the theme 'Our World' and will showcase children's learning across the curriculum from World War 2 and Space, to Shakespeare and Volcanoes! Celebrating light, we look forward to welcoming the community to West Park Academy to share this dazzling light festival.
We ask that the children bring a glass jar into school by Friday 30th January 2026. The children will decorate the jar in school, all the jars will be used to 'Light the Path' with a flameless tea light (provided by school).
There will lots of amazing things to see: Flame Thrower, Stilt Walker, with glow sticks, hot dogs, hot chocolate and cake to purchase.
