Road Safety
This half term, as part of their transport topic, some of the children in Hub 2 have been learning about road safety. We discussed the importance of staying safe near roads and why rules are necessary to help protect everyone.
The key words the children have been focusing on are stop, look, listen, and think. These simple steps help them remember how to cross roads safely and be aware of their surroundings.
The children especially enjoyed the practical lessons, where they were able to go out and practise these skills in real-life situations within the West Park community. This hands-on experience helped to build their confidence and understanding of how to stay safe when near roads.
