Monday 22nd April 2024 is Earth Day. It is an annual celebration that honours the achievements of the largest environmental movement and raises awareness of the need to protect our Earth’s natural resources for future generations. This year’s theme is “Planet v Plastics”.

Can you pledge at least one change that would help to reduce the amount of plastic that your family uses to help reduce waste and plastic ending up in landfill sites?
Say no to plastic straws
Use reusable water bottles
Snack on fruit (This could be instead of a plastic-wrapped snack)
Never litter
Lone some litter-pick equipment from school to help keep the environment plastic free.
