Safeguarding
West Park Academy is committed to the development of good practice and sound procedures. Our Safeguarding policies can be found on the Safeguarding Policies page in this section.
Child Protection
We ensure that child protection concerns and referrals are handled sensitively, professionally and in ways that support the needs of the child.
Extremism and Radicalisation
Schools have a vital role to play in protecting pupils from the risks of extremism and radicalisation, a role which is underpinned by the Counter-Terrorism and Security Act 2015 “to have due regard to the need to prevent people from being drawn into terrorism”.
